Executive Suites offer picturesque views over Lake Tarawera, lavish super king beds, comfortable chairs for lounging, picture windows and a private balcony. Freestanding baths overlook the Lake and give you the opportunity to soak in the view.
Enjoy a drink at the lodge bar or outdoor terrace, whilst taking in the spectacular lake and mountain vista. Dining is always a highlight at Solitiare Lodge, our full board tarrif inludes a full country breakfast, light lunch, pre dinner drinks and a 5 course evening meal.
Explore shoreline trails through native bush or a picnic lunch at a private secluded beach on the Lodge’s private peninsula.

Tarawera Suite
The 70 SQM The Tarawera Suite features uninterrupted views from the tranquil bay up to the majestic summit of Mount Tarawera. Guest will enjoy a generous bedroom and a separate lounge/dining area.
Villa Suite
This stand alone 1 bedroom (75 SQM) or 2 bedroom (108 SQM) Villa Suite is all about space, large bedrooms, spacious living / dining area and private balcony overlooking the Bay. Ideal for families, groups or a spacious couple’s retreat.
Solitaire Suite
Set in a separate building this 1 bedroom (75 SQM) or 2 bedroom (88 SQM) suite offers peace, total privacy and a breathtaking outlook through dramatic picture windows across the glassy Lake and Mount Tarawera.
