Whaka Lower Lookout E-Bike Trail
9.5km | easy | 1 – 2 hours
Join the ‘Te Ara Ahi’ through ‘Hemo Gorge’ towards Waipa Carpark. From here, the trail leads to the Forest Loop and Whaka Lower lookout where you can enjoy beautiful views over the volcanic parks Te Puia and The Living Maori Village. Continue your way back by following the Forest Loop until Nursery Rd. Then take the trail back to the The Living Maori Village.
Mokopuna, Sulphur Point & Lake Front E-Bike Trail
17.3km | easy | 1 – 2.5 hours
Explore the geothermal cycleway through The Living Maori Village and towards the Mokopuna Trail in the Redwoods forest, then ride towards more geothermal wonders before opening up to expose the magnificent views over Lake Rotorua and the township.
Forest Loop E-Bike Trail
40km | medium single track | 3.5 hours
Looking for a more challenging ride? Then the Forest Loop is a good option. This loop is a link of different grade 2 trails and offers beautiful views of Lake Rotorua, the Blue and Green Lake. There are coffee and food stops along the way. With “E-bikes” the forest loop is suitable from beginners to riders that simply want to enjoy the beauty of Rotorua’s Forest.
